Return & Refund Policy

1. Scope
This Return & Refund Policy applies to purchases made at www.carryacraftbag.com. It explains eligibility, timeframes, procedures, and refund processing for returns and exchanges of bags and related accessories.

2. Return Eligibility

  • Returns are accepted for defective items, wrong items shipped, or items that are materially different from the product description.
  • For non-defective returns (change of mind), returns may be accepted at our discretion and may incur restocking and return shipping fees.
  • Items must be unused, unaltered, with original packaging, tags, and all accessories. Items showing signs of wear, damage, or missing parts are not eligible.

3. Return Timeframe

  • Report defective, damaged, or incorrect items within 7 days of delivery.
  • For non-defective returns (if accepted), request a return within 14 days of delivery unless otherwise stated on the product page.
  • We reserve the right to refuse returns requested outside these timeframes.

4. How to Request a Return or Exchange

  • Do not ship items back without receiving return authorization and instructions from us. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

5. Return Shipping

  • For returns due to our error (defect, wrong item), we will provide prepaid return shipping or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs per our instructions.
  • For returns due to change of mind or customer error, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed.
  • Items returned must be securely packaged; the customer is responsible for damage in transit for returns they ship unless shipping was prepaid and insured by us.

6. Inspection & Approval

  • Returned items will be inspected upon receipt. We will notify you of approval or rejection of the return within a reasonable time.
  • If a return is rejected (e.g., item used or missing parts), we may return the item to you at your expense or offer another resolution.

7. Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–14 business days after we accept and process the return. Actual posting time depends on the payment provider.
  • Shipping charges (original outbound shipping) are refundable only if the return is due to our error or as required by law. Restocking fees may apply for non-defective returns.

8. Exchanges

  • Exchanges for the same item (different size/color) are processed as a return and a new order. Availability of replacement items is subject to stock. Additional shipping charges may apply.

9. Damaged or Lost Returns

  • If a returned package is lost or damaged in transit and the customer arranged return shipping, we may require a tracking number and insurance to process the claim. We are not responsible for returns lost in transit if customer-selected shipping was used without insurance.

10. Non-Returnable Items

  • Items marked non-returnable on the product page, clearance or final-sale goods, and items showing clear signs of use are not eligible unless defective or contrary to local consumer laws.

11. Consumer Rights

  • This Policy does not affect statutory consumer rights under applicable law. Where local law provides greater protection (e.g., mandatory refund windows), those rights apply.

12. Fraud Prevention

  • We reserve the right to refuse returns or refunds that we suspect involve fraud, abuse, or policy circumvention.
